Happy Mothers' Day!!
It was only till the kiddos arrives that i start to understand a mothers' "joy", "pride" and "pain".
The joy of seeing the kiddos innocent smiles, questions and request.
The pride when the kiddos make their first turn, start babbering their first word, begin crawling & walking, start pre-school, etc etc...
The pain whenever the kiddos fall sick, quarrel over toys or misbehave.
Being a mother is a life-long committement with no rest day, no sick leave, no benefits and no salary. Its a 24/7 job and also on standby whenever the kiddos needs you, sometimes even after they are of age (I am guilty of this myself - recalling the many times I need to reach out to my mum for help and support).
Sacrifice, Endure, Suffer are never the words that linger on a mummy's mouth as a mummy will does what is best for the family and most of the times beyond her means - Mothers' power!
To all fellow mummies out there... I believe you will concur with me that everyday is a Mothers' Day for you whenever you see your family in good order!
